Total cost of ownership (TCO) research

This research is different than the price tracking or the spare parts price tracking, in the sense that it evaluates the total cost of owning the vehicle:

• From vehicle purchase,
• Scheduled maintenance cost for 3 years (including parts and labour) and
• The residual value at the time of disposal.

During different phases of this study, we conduct multiple visits to the showrooms, service centres and independent outlets, given the complexity involved in obtaining discrete pieces of information. If required, actual owners of vehicles are also recruited.
